FAQ

While massage is beneficial for most people, there are times when you should not get a massage. If you are sick with a cold, flu, or starting to feel symptoms of becoming sick, have a fever, sore throat, vomiting or have an infection, you should not receive a massage. If you have a broken bone, open wounds, blood clots, or recent surgeries massage to the areas is also contraindicated. If you have any medical concerns, or are being treated for a certain illness or disease please consult with your physician to ensure massage is right for you.

If at any point during your massage session should you feel the need to use the bathroom, please let me know. We can easily pause the session while you use the facilities and then pick up where we left off. There is a comfy bathrobe and slippers available for your convenience should you choose. Please do not try and hold "it" as this is very uncomfortable and I want you to feel relaxed and at ease throughout your session. If time allows (there is no client scheduled immediately afterwards) we can make up any missed time on the back end of your session.

It is my practice to check in with you during the first 5 minutes of your session and then again half way through to ensure you are comfortable during you entire time. If at any point during your massage you are unhappy with the pressure used, please let me know and I will adjust accordingly. This is your time (and money) and I want you to be comfortable and satisfied with the session from start to finish.
Please note, there are some techniques and massage modalities that I use that require pressure adjustments, and I try to err on the side of caution. Sometimes, less is more. If you have any questions about the techniques I use, please do not hesitate to ask. Communication is key in customizing each session to best serve your needs.

Booking an appointment is easy and convenient. You can book online through the website for seamless scheduling or book through Google Maps, Whatsapp or Facebook. Alternatively, you can call or text 520-904-0271 and I can assist you in finding a suitable time slot. Should you call and get voicemail, please leave a message and I will return your call as soon as I am able. Please note, if I do not answer, it is because I am with a client and do not answer calls during sessions. I will get back to you by the end of the business day if not sooner. I do recommend booking in advance to secure your preferred date and time. There maybe times when same day appointments are available and not visible on the online booking system, call or text to double check. Please note that all services are by appointment only.

During your first visit to Boro Body & Sole, our professional massage therapist will greet you warmly and conduct a brief consultation to understand your health history, specific concerns, and preferences. This helps us tailor the massage session to suit your needs best. You'll have the opportunity to discuss any areas of tension, past injuries, or medical conditions that might influence the treatment. After the consultation, we'll guide you to a private and relaxing treatment room, where you can comfortably undress to your comfort level before the session begins. Rest assured that your privacy and comfort are of utmost importance to us. Throughout the massage, our therapist will check in with you regarding pressure and comfort to ensure a satisfying experience. After the session, we encourage you to take some time to relax and hydrate before leaving our studio.
